BallsDex migration
Kompendium can map legacy BallsDex SQL and media into native models while retaining external artwork references. Collectibles, instances, players, guild configuration, specials, trades, packs, boosters, orders, auctions, and blacklist history have dedicated mappings.
Create a new Kompendium instance for the first migration test. In Data, make a manual backup of the target instance even if it is empty. Then create an Import job with Ballsdex as Source, Kompendium as Destination, and SQL as Data Type. Upload the SQL dump, create the job, press Run, and keep the Log open until it completes. Upload a separate media.zip job if you have the matching assets.
The importer does not run BallsDex code or depend on its ORM. Media is validated and copied into the target instance; unreferenced files are ignored. Review the generated summary for unmapped tables and manually verify artwork, rarity, policy choices, spawn settings, a few player inventories, and autocomplete results after migration. Do not delete the original export until the test bot is behaving as expected.
