Discord setup

Invite the bot with the bot and applications.commands scopes. Give it access to the channels where it must read and send messages. Add Embed Links and Attach Files when cards and rich responses should render, and only grant moderation permissions when you deliberately use a feature that needs them.

After inviting the bot, open Dashboard and make sure the instance shows as running. If slash commands do not appear, press Sync commands on Dashboard, close and reopen Discord’s command picker, and test again in the intended server.

Admin command visibility

Admin commands are registered under /admin and are intended for configured admin guilds and roles. In Config, add the numeric Discord server ID under Admin servers, trusted user IDs under Co-owners, and staff role IDs under Full access roles or Partial access roles. The instance owner and co-owner list is checked separately.

Privileged intents

Members, message content, and presence intents are optional instance settings. Enable each one in both Config and the Discord Developer Portal before using features that need it. Restart the bot after changing them. Message Content is needed for chat-name catch modes; Server Members is needed by member-dependent features such as leaderboards.
